Match Developments and Results
IF Brommapojkarna, a team that won the northern series without losing a match, faced IF Elfsborg's P17 team. The lead changed hands quickly after 21 minutes when Emil Backler scored for Elfsborg to make it 0-1. After eight minutes, Brommapojkarna responded with their own goal, which stood until halftime.
In the second half, only ten minutes passed before the home team could score again. An opening in the hunt for a response was given when one of Brommapojkarnas players received two yellow cards within five minutes of play, thereby decimating the team's last 25 minutes.
Elfsborg tried to press and chase a response that unfortunately did not materialize. The match ended 2-1 in favor of Brommapojkarna, but the team could take much to build on going forward.
The next match will be played at Borås Arena against Landskrona BoIS as the opponent. It is scheduled for August 8 at 14:00.
